Before i forget, your APEL 2 Assignment is due 16 Jul. Can we all complete it 1st July?

Things to note:
Students are only allowed to submit ONCE in the online system. Please inform them to upload (e.g. cut and paste from MS Word perhaps) into the online system for final submission only.

Service Reflection (500 words minimum)

Identify a disadvantaged group, and briefly describe the current situation or share why this group is significant to you.

What problems do they face, and what do you think they really need ? Give example (s).

What are your goals/objectives, and in what ways can you volunteer your service to help this group ?

Think of a tentative strategy and if applicable, state the (i) pros and cons, (ii) costs. (Costs may include supplies, materials, transport, rental, utilities, manpower, etc)

Based on your recommendation in (4), draw up a tentative action plan.

How is volunteering related to your life mission statement ?

How does volunteering effectively reinforce at least one of the APEL key principles or values ?

On completion of this reflection, you are required to print 2 copies:
(a) hand one copy to your APEL2 Facilitator for grading and
(b) file one copy in your APEL Portfolio
